We now have a vacancy in our Slane factory for a Maintenance Electrician 

The Role:

Full responsibility for the corrective and preventative maintenance including diagnosis and development of on-site systems, while working as part of the overall team to support plant production and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance support to production operations.
• Maintain production equipment through preventative and reactive organisation.
• Perform routine fabrication assignments as directed.
• Perform testing to ensure machinery is operating correctly and safely.
• Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimum specifications.
• Supervise a scheduled programme periodically for maintenance shutdown. 

The Person:

• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Recognised National qualification / apprenticeship.
• Team player who can also work on their own initiative.
• Good overall knowledge of conveyors, elevators and screening systems.
• Experience of working with weighing systems.
• Basic computer knowledge essential.
