Sheridan Machinery is a well-established agricultural machinery and parts dealer based in Arva, Co. Cavan, supplying and supporting farmers and contractors across the region.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Machinery & Parts Sales Executive to join our team. You'll be the driving force behind sales on the shop floor and parts counter — advising customers, selling machinery and spare parts, and keeping the store running efficiently through online ordering and stock management. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone who knows agri machinery inside out and genuinely enjoys selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell machinery, spare parts, and accessories to farmers and contractors, in person and by phone
- Advise customers on the right parts and products for their machinery
- Order parts online through manufacturer/supplier ordering systems and track deliveries
- Manage stock levels and keep the store well organised
- Build strong relationships with regular customers and suppliers
- Process sales and quotes at the counter
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in agricultural machinery or parts sales — essential
- Strong knowledge of farm machinery and parts, and confidence identifying the right part for the job
- Comfortable using online ordering/stock systems
- Experience with Ibcos Gold software an advantage
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine drive to sell
- Full clean driving licence
