The role we are hiring for:
As we continue to grow we’re looking for a Livestock Account Executive to drive adoption of the platform, develop new commercial partnerships and help establish Haystack as the leading destination for agricultural trading in Ireland.
What you’ll be doing:
You will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new livestock sellers, marts, agents, pedigree breeders and commercial partners while building strong relationships with existing customers. You will play a key role in increasing livestock listings, expanding platform usage and driving revenue growth.
Your day to day will involve:
- Identifying and engaging with potential livestock sellers, pedigree breeders, marts, agents and farming businesses
- Driving growth in livestock listings and active users on the Haystack platform
- Developing relationships with key stakeholders across the livestock sector
- Conducting customer meetings and onboarding sessions
- Managing existing customer accounts to maximise retention and repeat business
- Representing Haystack at agricultural shows, marts and exhibitions
- Identifying opportunities to develop additional commercial partnerships and revenue streams.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong understanding of the livestock, farming and wider agricultural sector in Ireland
- A natural relationship builder who can maintain a large book of contacts without dropping the ball.
- Strong communication skills, you’ll be on calls, meetings and inboxes constantly, managed through our HubSpot CRM
- You should be comfortable working independently while contributing as part of a wider team
- A full clean driving licence and willing to travel when required
What success looks like:
- A growing number of active accounts posting livestock listings on Haystack
- Strong retention of existing listing customers month on month
- A healthy pipeline of buyers and sellers at various stages of engagement
