LAIRAGE OPERATOR – REQUIRED

Liffey Meats has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and committed Lairage Operator to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong agricultural background, with relevant experience in livestock handling. A good understanding of farming, animal welfare and the day-to-day requirements of a busy meat processing environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities

As Lairage Operator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and care of livestock within our factory, ensuring the highest standards are maintained in:

· Animal welfare and livestock handling

· Livestock health and wellbeing

· Hygiene and cleanliness

· Health & Safety

· Organisation and efficient movement of livestock

· Compliance with company procedures and relevant regulations

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

· Experienced in livestock handling and farming

· Self-motivated, reliable and hardworking

· Organised, with excellent attention to detail

· A confident communicator

· Capable of working independently and as part of a team

· Professional, responsible and committed to high standards

Relevant agricultural qualifications or experience would be an advantage.
