Technical Sales Manager
To lead its national and international sales function, KME Agri is recruiting a Technical Sales Manager to join our growing organisation. We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality, low-emission slurry equipment. We specialize in retrofitting existing tankers with new features and offer a comprehensive range of low-emission slurry equipment, including dribble bars and trailing shoes in various widths and configurations to meet all customer requirements. Our core product offerings include trailing shoes, dribble bars, slurry tankers, macerators, umbilical equipment, parts, and many more.

The main roles and responsibilities associated with this role are as follows:
- Lead the sales and after-sales functions of KME Agri in Ireland and internationally.
- Expand KME Agri’s dealer network.
- Manage customer engagement throughout the entire sales process, from initial contact to after-sales support.
- Develop and maintain an active customer management system for both new and existing customers.
- Utilize sales tools and analysis to track and report on customer activity.
- Conduct customer visits to address any issues or service requirements as needed.
- Provide regular updates to KME Agri management on sales performance and customer trends.
- Monitor customer business activities and communicate key insights to management in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance KME Agri’s presence both online and in person.
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions, including identifying suitable events, overseeing exhibition setup, attending events, and following up with key stakeholders.
- Conduct industry and competitor analysis, providing insights and reports to the wider KME Agri team.
- Stay up to date on KME Agri’s product offerings and competitor products to maintain a competitive edge.
- Take a leadership role in ensuring products are produced and dispatched efficiently.
- Work closely with the design and production teams to streamline operations and meet distributor/customer demands.
- Perform any additional duties necessary to successfully achieve KME Agri’s sales and distribution objectives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in business, sales, marketing, or agriculture (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum 5 years' sales experience, ideally in the agriculture sector.
- Strong knowledge of slurry equipment (dribble bars, trailing shoes, tankers, macerators) and farming practices.
- Experience expanding customer and dealer networks and managing domestic/international sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, CRM systems, and sales analytics tools.
- Familiarity with KME Agri’s products and competitor offerings.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally to customers and dealers.
- Strong market awareness, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Integrity, professionalism, and a results-driven mindset.
- Valid driver’s license (required for travel).
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
