Job Overview:

Ketripack Co. is seeking a motivated and reliable General Operative to join our team in Wexford. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the production process in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of production machinery.
• Ensure the correct materials and components are available and ready for production.
• Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
• Operate production lines and assist with packing and labeling products.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep production areas clean and organized.
• Report any issues or concerns with machinery or products to the supervisor.
• Assist with stock management, including loading/unloading materials.
• Perform other duties as required to support the smooth running of the production floor.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
• Ability to operate basic production machinery (training will be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
• A flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Must be fluent in English. Forklift driving is essential.
