We now have an immediate vacancy in our Slane Factory for a Forklift Driver.

Reporting to the Factory Manager,  the successful Candidate will have key Responsibilities as follows:

·        Product Handling: Utilise front loaders and forklifts to efficiently unload products from incoming ships

·        Ensure careful and organised handling of cargo to prevent damage.

·        Safely load trucks and lorries with products, optimizing space and securing the cargo.

·       Good Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock area. Dispose of packaging materials and waste in designated areas.

·       Health & Safety: Follow Health & Safety protocols and report equipment issues promptly to ensure a well-maintained and safe working environment. Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to the identification and mitigation of potential hazards.

·        Other tasks as required from time to time.

Requirements:

·        Available to work between the hours of 8am – 4.30pm from Monday to Friday, weekend work may be required during busy periods.

·        Available also to work shift work as and when needed.

·        Experience working in Manufacturing Environment.

·        Fluent English & Valid Permit to work in Ireland is essential.
