We’re Hiring a Content Creator

Due to exciting new projects, Green Acre Marketing is expanding our team and seeking a capable and creative Content Creator to join us.

This is a hybrid role, based 3 days per week in our Waterford office and 2 days remote.

If you don’t know us already, we are the agribusiness marketing experts, with reputable skills in digital marketing, public relations, event management and strategic marketing and planning.

We work with a wide range of agri business clients and pride ourselves on our collaborative, relaxed and creative environment. We like to have fun, but we’re also hardworking, agile, and detail oriented.

About the role

This role will be pivotal in producing compelling and engaging content across various platforms and in print, ensuring it aligns with our clients’ objectives and our own communication efforts. We are seeking a self-motivated creative thinker, with a passion for storytelling and creating engaging content. An agricultural background would make this role all the more rewarding.

Key Responsibilities:

· Proven experience in content creation. Plan, create, edit and publish content (photo, video, graphics, written copy) across platforms, website, blog posts, e-newsletters and other digital channels.

· Draft and distribute press releases, newsletters and written testimonials. Write engaging captions, scripts and product descriptions. Monitor media coverage and help manage relationships with journalists and media outlets.

· Collaborate with clients and our social media teams to ensure messaging aligns with clients branding and resonates farming audiences.

· Support coordination of press events, product launches, influencer collaborations and media briefings.

· Familiarity with analytics, content management systems and digital marketing tools. Monitor content performance, analyse metrics, and optimise future content based on insights and compile client reports.

· Manage digital asset libraries.

About You

You are:

· A natural storyteller who loves narrating and creating messages that resonate and connect.

· A strong communicator — written and verbal with attention to detail.

· A team player who also works well independently, can manage remote collaboration and embraces teamwork.

· Comfortable using digital collaboration tools. Familiar with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, X) and digital tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, or scheduling apps.

· Organised and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.

· Open to feedback, and proactive in taking initiative.

Ideal Background

· A degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media, or Journalism (or similar) with a passion for agriculture.

· Previous experience in content creation, PR, social media, marketing or the agri sector is a plus — but enthusiasm and initiative matter most!

Details

· Location: Hybrid – 3 days in Waterford office, 2 days remote

· Fulltime after probation period

· Start Date: Immediately

· Occasional travel for shoots or events may be required.
