Co-Op Development Manager

Job Description

Boyne Valley Farmers Co-Op with a turnover of almost €16M and a milk pool of over 100M litres, represent dairy farmers in the North East.

We are seeking a Development Manager to co-ordinate the smooth running of the co-op, with a particular focus on establishing relationships with suppliers, managing tender processes across a wide range of product/ service categories and effective communication with farmer members, executive board & chairman.

Our mission is to get the best deals for our farmer members while building and enhancing existing and new relationships with suppliers.

Reporting to: Boyne Valley Co-Op Chairman & Executive Board

Duration: Fixed Term Contract (18 Month)

Location: Remote/ Flexible (some travel required)

We are looking for a professional individual with:

• Commercial negotiating experience
• Good communication & social skills
• Computer & data analytical ability
• Self-motivated & well organised
• Experience in the agri industry desirable but not essential

This is a contract position which may be extended by review. The successful individual will have a fixed budget to include remuneration, expenses and third-party costs.
