Bovine Semen Stores Despatch Operative

Job Description

Due to the continued growth, Progressive Genetics are looking to recruit a Bovine Semen Stores Despatch Operative.

The job would require the following:

·        Daily picking and despatch of frozen Bovine Semen

·        Maintain Accurate records and documentation on all lab activity to include report preparation.

·        Assist in maintaining Semen inventory

·        Recordkeeping/Data entry – receive all incoming stocks and record on stock control system.

·        Supply inventory to management on regular basis or as required.

·        Assist in Quality Control and maintain high level of cleanliness in the lab at all times.

·        Collaborate with lab team to ensure efficient workflow.

·        Adhere to safety protocols to maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Job requirements:

·        Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

·        Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with Breeding advisors on the ground.

·        Fast thinker and multi-tasker

·        Previous experience working in a Laboratory/Despatch environment desirable

·        Knowledge of the Agri-Industry and interest in cattle breeding preferable.

·        Attention to detail.

·        Ability to identify and drive continuous improvement.

 Qualifications:

·        Relevant Science or Agriculture qualification desirable but not necessary

·        Work experience in stores/laboratory environment desirable but not necessary

·        Full training will be provided
