The opportunity: Account Manager - Agriland
The Agriland Commercial Team are responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, ranging from government bodies and large international concerns to small agricultural entities. As part of our ongoing development we are recruiting an Account Manager to join our expanding team. This exciting position for an ambitious, dynamic and driven team player will allow you excel as the lead point of contact for customer account management activities. Building relationships based on trust as well as providing a superior customer service experience that ensures successful delivery of campaigns that meet customer expectations is key. To excel in this role, you will be highly organised, comfortable on the phone and be an active listener who can develop client focused solutions.
Job Location: Dublin
Reporting to: Commercial Director
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Develop a detailed knowledge of our products and services
- Engage with our client base to create, plan and deliver effective digital marketing campaigns
- Review campaign performance and inform customers accordingly
- Networking and building successful long term relationships with key stakeholders
- Identifying new business opportunities with existing clients with a customer centric mindset
- Complete weekly forecasting and planning of sales activity through our CRM system
- Hit and exceed monthly sales targets
- Negotiate pricing and work with customers in a long-term partnership approach
- Take part in and contribute positively to team and sales meetings
- Establish close relationships with colleagues and provide regular market feedback to the wider Agriland team
- Represent the company in a professional manner at corporate events and exhibitions
Your background
- An interest in and understanding of the Agri market sales cycle
- Third level education in a relevant discipline (marketing, business, digital media, agriculture)
- Commercially astute with a flair and passion for sales
- Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch
- Team player with excellent presentation and communication skills
- Motivated, organised and prepared to lead by example
- It literate (MS Office)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Full license
