LIC's international business in Ireland plays a key role in our overall international growth strategy. This exciting opportunity will give the successful applicant the ability to use their farm systems experience to work with key account holders and will be central to LIC's animal breeding programme while supporting the growth of the Irish market for LIC. Working closely with the Irish and UK teams along with our Irish distributors, Eurogene, the successful applicant will be part of a growing international genetics business supported by the New Zealand based head office of LIC.
In this role you will work in conjunction and collaboratively with Key accounts clients driving lean Management practices, managing the performance of groups of stakeholders as well as facilitating workshops and field-days along with providing farm systems advice to Irish farmer clients. You will also be responsible for the management of our in-market breeding projects.
Your role will report to the Sales and Operations Manager of LIC Europe.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a solid understanding of the dairy industry in Ireland, with a good understanding of New Zealand practices is an advantage. Demonstrated experience in animal breeding, farm advisory or consultancy and a strong ability to build rapport with others and deliver clear messages.
